Planned Parenthood Toronto’s PEAK Project is offering free HIV education, prevention, and anti-stigma workshops to youth in after school programs, youth groups, and alternative schools.
The PEAK Project is an initiative of Planned Parenthood Toronto (PPT) that aims to educate and inform youth about HIV/AIDS through interactive peer led workshops. Their trained youth volunteers facilitate activities that will engage participants in conversations about HIV, prevention and stigma. They also offer broader workshops on STI’s that are helpful for younger audiences navigating their sexual health.
For youth ages 13-29, PEAK is offering a series of FREE HIV education and anti-stigma workshops and FREE STI education and anti-stigma workshops at PPT. The workshops are designed for youth, by youth, and approximately 90 minutes in length. All workshops will be located at 36B Prince Arthur Avenue. Workshop participants will get a $5 Tim Horton’s gift card and a tour of our clinic.
