RESOURCE: What’s Next For Me?

Our friends over at Women’s College Hospital (home of the Bay Centre for Birth Control) have launched a brand new resource called What’s Next For Me?

What’s Next For Me is a website completely dedicated to information on Emergency Contraception (EC). EC is birth control for times when you think there was a risk of pregnancy (the condom broke, someone realized they forgot to take the pill, someone didn’t pull out in time, etc.). For years when people talked about EC, they usually meant Emergency Contraception Pills like Plan B (heck, even our own info page is just about Plan B…), but more and more people are looking for info on Copper IUDs and ella (which is now available in Canada).

What’s Next For Me is a great project because it helps people who need emergency contraception know more about all their options, so that they can make an informed choice that is based on accurate information. And boy do they have a lot of info, including this great EC comparison chart:

Congrats to Women’s College Hospital on creating such a fantastic resource! We’re definitely going to use it A LOT.
