Sexually Transmitted Infections

Sexually Transmitted Infections (or STIs) are a classification for things that are passed or contracted through sexual activities. While it’s true that people can contract things like yeast infections or even the flu from sexual contact with another person, STIs are mainly only transmitted through sexual activities. STIs are the same thing as STD (sexually transmitted diseases), but Infections is a more accurate word. Check out the links to read more about different STIs, bust some myths, or improve your communication skills on the topic.
